Protecting / encrypting your Agenda notes: a workaround

The popular Agenda app for macOS and iOS devices lacks a privacy protection system. Browsing through Agenda’s user forum, I found quite a large number of people who want to use the app but refrain from doing so because of the lack of protection.

When you think of research and writing long documents, you inevitably think of Scrivener. There is an alternative approach, though, in the form of three apps that communicate with each other like you couldn’t imagine. DEVONthink Pro 3 vs Bear app for capturing web pages

DEVONthink Pro 3 comes with a re-designed system-wide extension that lets you grab entire web pages in various formats from any web browser. When you combine it with DEVONthink’s content capabilities you’ll have an extremely powerful research annex information collection tool at your fingertips – much better than Bear app, which I am using now.

Major update on the radar: Final Cut Library Manager 3

Final Cut Library Manager lets you manage Final Cut Pro X Libraries and its contents. Version 2 got updated several times for free, regardless of it including new features. A couple of weeks ago, Arctic Whiteness then finally upgraded Final Cut Library Manager to version 3. In the process, the company introduced a new licensing model. You can upgrade version 2 to the newest version for free, but then you’ll lose out on the most useful features like freeing up disk space after rendering projects. For a small fee you can upgrade and keep the advanced features of version 2 in addition to some nifty new ones. And for a bit more money, you can add a couple of advanced options that could turn Final Cut Library Manager into your central library management hub.
